WHAT A WEEK: Kemp earned her second consecutive regional MVP trophy to lead the Eagles back to the state championship. In the Eastern Regional semifinal, Kemp had 13 points and 10 rebounds in a 61-30 win over Bunn. In the final on Saturday, Kemp led the Eagles with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 48-43 win over Burlington Cummings. East Bladen will play for the 1A title a year after losing in the 1A state championship.
